Occidental College

Overview
Utilizing brand assets established from another agency, Industry of Hues™ created a promotional print piece while simultaneously rolling out a newer, updated look for the college after its detailed brand articulation directed by SimpsonScarborough.

Challenge
After going through a lengthy brand articulation with another agency, we were approached by Occidental College (OXY for short) to design a student search piece that moved away from dark and heavy and more towards light and hopeful.

Solutions
We created a fetching roll fold brochure with a focus on student academic and Los Angeles lifestyles. The 6" by 9" piece made ample use of white space and leaned more into the lighter, brighter colors from OXY's recent brand articulation. Statistics and infographics peppered the piece with enticing factoids about the college.

Occidental College (OXY) in Los Angeles, California reached out to us to create several promotional pieces in various sizes and formats; post cards, full-page advertisements, and digital and print billboards. In addition to the aforementioned items, Industry of Hues™ was brought on to design a student search piece geared towards attracting new enrollees.
